About Me

With a passion for carpentry and joinery ignited in 1983 through an enriching apprenticeship with a revered local Building Firm established in 1850, I embarked on an interesting and enjoyable journey through the many and sometimes complex aspects of traditional craftsmanship. Supported by a fully equipped joiners shop and experience in church work, my formative years were dedicated to honing my skills, splitting my time between bench work and on site, cultivating a comprehensive understanding of carpentry and joinery techniques… After 23 years of dedication to the same esteemed company, the time felt ripe in 2005 to start my own business. Nearly two decades later, with a business that has flourished through diligence and expertise, I stand proudly upon a foundation of four decades of experience in the craft of traditional carpentry and joinery which is a testament to the training received by several master carpenters throughout my apprenticeship years.
